Response to Covid-19
April 1st, 2020

To our customers,

Paris Farmers Union's retail locations are currently staying open to provide you with the Essential Items you need for your home and farm during this difficult time. Please read our Covid-19 Update below for changes to our stores operational procedures going into effect on 4/2/20.

Based on Government COVID-19 directives for essential businesses, the health of our employees, customers, and communities we serve, Paris Farmers Union has implemented the following over the last several weeks:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures at all locations.

  • Modified delivery and check out procedures to observe social distancing.

  • Offering curbside pickup. Please contact your local store for product availability, ordering, and available pickup time (please note not all products listed on our website are stocked or available at all locations).

To follow the latest Executive Order from Maine Governor, Janet Mills, these new operational procedures will be in effect beginning on 04/02/20, for all Maine locations:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the hours of 8am-9am will be designated for customers over the age of 60 and customers with medical conditions. For all others who fall outside the above category, please observe these days and times and adjust your essential shopping habits accordingly.

  • Only 5 customers will be allowed to shop at one time at the following Maine locations based on Governor Mill’s latest Executive Order: South Paris, Bridgton, Jay, and Turner.

  • Only 15 customers will be allowed to shop at one time at the following locations based on Governor Mill’s latest Executive Order: Lewiston, Winthrop, Portland, Newport, and Raymond.

Retail Store hours have been adjusted to Monday-Saturday 8am-4pm and Sunday 8:30am-3pm. Please check store hours via our “ Updated Store Hours” link for any future changes.

This is a stressful time for all of us. Please be patient, kind, understanding, and flexible. We greatly appreciate our associates dedication and efforts during this difficult time. They are all working hard meeting the needs of our valued customers and communities. We encourage everyone to follow CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our associates and customers.

Stay Healthy and Safe,
